  • When an appointment is made you will be sent regulatory information by e-mail or post which will include my contact details, Terms of Business document and information on my Professional status.
  • Prior to my visit I will send you a small Questionnaire which will gather information regarding who you would like to appoint as your Executors or Attorneys (Guardians for Children), any gifts or legacies and beneficiaries etc. You will be asked to retain the completed Questionnaire until my visit.
  • My visit will be an informal discussion using the Questionnaire to structure your Will or Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). I can offer advice and the meeting should take up to approximately 45 minutes. I will complete all necessary documentation and will require a 50% deposit of the agreed fee.
  • Following my visit, the information collected is forwarded to our Legal department to be processed. This may take up to twelve working days (unless it is a matter of urgency due to ill health). Our Legal department will forward a Draft document for approval.
  • I will check the Draft document upon receipt and will forward a copy for you to check and approve. Following your approval, I will arrange to have the Wills or LPAs sent to my office. Following their arrival, I will contact you to make an appointment to arrange to have witnesses available to sign your Wills or LPAs.
  • On the day of signing, I will be available in person to ensure your Wills or LPAs are signed correctly. Details of witnesses will be taken and a copy of the signed pages will be made for future reference. Your Wills or LPAs (including a copy) will be left with you, unless you opt for the Will registration at a small cost. The 50% balance will then be collected and a receipt given.
  • Any future information or advice would be provided free of charge.
